On September 29, 2023, students and staff from across the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) will commemorate Orange Shirt Day, National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Staff and students are encouraged to wear orange to acknowledge the impact of the residential school system, raise awareness and honour Indigenous communities, to promote reconciliation.
We will have our Curriculum night on Thursday, Sept. 21st beginning at 6:30 pm -7:30 pm. It is a great opportunity for parents and guardians to meet the teachers and view your child(ren)’s classroom.
On our upcoming Faith Day, we will explore the Catholic Education Theme: We Are Called to Love. This day is an opportunity to engage in community building and, it is also equally important for the focus of the day to be on faith development, as well, within our community of believers.
